The Rain Ceremony of the Aquaelicium:The ceremony has a purpose of creating rain after a long drought. The ceremony would start with the offerings to the god of the sky and then he would pour water over the rain stone.Crop of Harvest Ceremonies: The successful growth of crops and harvest was important because if it happen it would be the death of some people. As part of the tradition there would be a prosecution of a red dog. It was symbolic to do this in April, another thing that was done at this time was the killing of all the pregnant cows which they believed made the earth more fertile.
The worship of fields:Life as an early roman were days mainly taken up by the presence of work in the fields.There were many agricultural festivals that took place in Ancient Rome.There were 3 main festivals that took place in Spring, Summer, and Winter each one celebrating something slightly different. Spring: Expressive of the hopes and fears for the growing of crops and the herds of farm animals. Summer:The festivals of fulfilment, including the celebration of harvest. Winter:The festivals of sowing and of social rejoicing.Each of these festivals had related gods, that would assumably attend.

They wanted the household objects to be closely bound up to them. For example the door, it was protection from the external world when you were home, and keep the home safe you you left for work in the morning. The hearth was the presence of warmths and the storage cupboard for food. To show to the people that they were there they placed tokens of there presence on the table before meal times.
